Quasar and Nova, the financial literacy Teaching Assistants.
Quasar and Nova

Quasar and Nova are Teaching Assistants created to help fourth- and fifth-grade students learn and practice financial literacy through questions, activities, explanations, and conversation.

In spring 2026 they worked with approximately 109 students across five Clark County School District schools over six weeks in an after-school setting.

Working alongside teachers, Quasar and Nova helped students explore financial literacy concepts through interactive conversations.

Dr. Splash and Bugsy

Dr. Splash and Bugsy are teaching assistants that help students explore STEM and hydroponics through questions, explanations, activities, and conversation. Their different personalities give students two different ways to engage with the material.

Spring 2026 classroom implementation: approximately 109 students in grades 4–5 across five Clark County School District schools over six weeks. Average assessment scores increased by 2.6 points on an 18-point assessment, approximately 14 percentage points of the total possible score.
